Vines is a lover of all things foggy, creepy, and dark. She developed a love of books at an early age after her father gave her a copy of Little Women to read while she recovered from scarlet fever.  Apparently, her dark sense of humor is genetic.

Holding a Juris Doctorate — yes, I know it’s pompous to say, but she worked very hard let her have it — she spends most days fighting paper, the wall, and occasionally the opposition.

To cope with the stress of her career, she created several long-running stories in her mind. Over time, keeping track of the stories became nearly impossible. She would leave a note in her phone or on her legal pad — until, finally, she knew it was time to piece them together and share them with the world.

When she isn’t fighting the world or tending to her story vines, she can be found playing with her two labradors or annoying her partner, whom she loves so much.

Her debut novel, Tormented & Tulips, is coming in the fall of 2026!
